‘DEFRAGMENTS OF INSANITY’ OUT IN APRIL'

Defragments Of Insanity’ is the re-recording of Necrodeath’s second album ‘Fragments Of Insanity’, originally released in 1989. This new version succeeds in keeping the original brutality and dark mood of the album intact, yet with the very distinctive approach of the current line-up of the band, the longest-standing in Necrodeath’s illustrious career.

Defragments Of Insanity’ follows the release of ‘The Age Of Dead Christ', the latest collection of original material for Necrodeath, the 11th in their career, 33 years after their inception into the scene, when the now legendary demo tape ‘The Shining Pentagram’ was released.

Considered a cult classic for decades, ‘Fragments Of Insanity’ is the quintessential Thrash/Black Metal album, an album that influenced many bands over the years and has been praised by fans and artists alike. And this new version will give younger fans a chance to own a piece of history that was no longer easy to find.

‘Defragments Of Insanity’ will be released on April 5th, 2019

on Scarlet Records.

A vinyl version will also be available on Terror From Hell Records

Legendary Thrash/Black Metal power force Necrodeath have released a video for the song ‘The Master Of Mayhem’ the new single taken from their latest album ‘The Age Of Dead Christ', available on Scarlet Records (vinyl version on Terror From Hell Records).

‘The Age Of Dead Christ' is Necrodeath's 11th album, 33 years after their inception into the scene, when the now legendary demo tape ‘The Shining Pentagram’ was released. 33 as the age of Christ, the dead Christ, as the title of the album says. Necrodeath go back to their roots releasing one of the fastest, most violent and brutal chapters in their deadly musical path. The cover resembles the typical artwork of the Eighties demo tapes and features the band's old logo.

‘The Age Of Dead Christ’ includes the song ‘The Return Of The Undead’, a new version of the band’s classic ‘The Undead’ (originally included in the 1987 debut album ‘Into The Macabre’), featuring yet another extreme metal legend on vocals, the mighty A.C. Wild of Bulldozer.

The band will keep touring through the end of the year in support of the album. The 33 confirmed dates are as follows:

This is the explicit cover artwork for “MONDOSCURO“, the announced EP co-starring Cadaveria and Necrodeath, both as distinct bands and as authors of new songs, composed and played together.
In detail, the EP will contain six tracks: two brand new and co-written songs, two covers (one of The Beatles and one of Type O Negative) and two unusual “exchange of roles”, that will see Cadaveria reinterpreting a classic by Necrodeath and Necrodeath performing a Cadaveria hit.

Among the other surprises of “MONDOSCURO” there is the participation of Lindsay Schoolcraft from Cradle of Filth, as special guest on vocals.

“MONDOSCURO” cover artwork was designed by Italian-Venezuelan digital artist Paolo Perrotta Mazza.

CADAVERIA + NECRODEATH = MONDOSCURO

MONDOSCURO will be the title of the EP involving CADAVERIA and Necrodeath, currently in the studio together to complete the mix of what promises to be the most diabolically unusual release of 2016.
The title refers to the cinematographic genre "Mondo film" of explicit documentaries, born in the 60s and depicting sensational, bloody and shocking scenes. MONDOSCURO also clearly recalls Mondocane project, the legendary collaboration of Necrodeath and Schizo from which the album "Mondocane: Project One" was born in 1989.
MONDOSCURO will not be a normal split, but a joint partnership that will see the two bands interacting strongly, through a track-list that alternates new songs to covers and that will include many identity exchanges.
The EP will be released in a few months via Black Tears of Death.

NECRODEATH in studio with CADAVERIA!

One year after their last release, the 7” EP “Headhunting”, thrash metal band NECRODEATH enters the recording studio to release a new EP. This work will represent something new compared to their previous releases, yet maintaining the band’s obscure, thrash and violent tradition.
This new release will also feature the participation of the horror metal band CADAVERIA, which shares two members with NECRODEATH, i.e. vocalist Flegias (aka Marçelo Santos, drummer in CADAVERIA), and bassist GL (aka Peter Dayton, bassist in both bands). Flegias defined this collaboration between these legendary bands as "a pact between these entities, which has been haunting us for some time, and now the time has come to exorcise it, entering together in the same studio”. 
Both bands reached a deal with the Italian label Black Tears, for the European release of this EP.
